Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can (8 biscuits) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  • Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
  • Assemble the Bombs: Place a spoonful of the cooked beef mixture in the center of each biscuit. Top with a generous amount of cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Carefully fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Bake the Bombs: Place the sealed bombs on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Garlic Parmesan Coating: While the bombs bake, melt the butter in a small bowl. Stir in garlic powder and parmesan cheese. Once the bombs are out of the oven, brush the garlic parmesan butter over the tops.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Let the bombs cool for a few minutes, then serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Don’t Overfill the Biscuits: Ensure not to overstuff the biscuits to prevent the dough from not sealing properly.
  • Use Fresh Parmesan: Freshly grated parmesan cheese is recommended for the best flavor instead of pre-shredded.
  • Bake Until Golden: Monitor the bombs while baking, as oven times may vary, to ensure they are golden brown and fully cooked.
  • Storing Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Reheating: Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 5-7 minutes or in the microwave (though the dough may not stay crispy).
  • Freezing: Assemble unbaked bombs, freeze on a baking sheet for 2 hours, then transfer to a zip-top bag for up to 3 months. Bake from frozen at 375°F for 15-18 minutes.
